Dirty Dave comes to us from Los Angeles where he’s a long time co-host of Things of Life, a weekly dublab radio show on which he shares his substantial swath of all tempo dance music with Daddy Differently. Having being introduced to dance music & DJing via the D.C. & Baltimore party scene of the 90’s at 15 years young, Dave immediately knew that this was more than just a party for him. While living in Arizona he worked at multiple record stores and played everywhere in Tucson & Phoenix. After making the move to Los Angeles in the mid 2000s, he threw Blow Up LA in connection with the SF party of the same name & founded a six year strong weekly Wednesday party Love Thang, where he played host to a laundry list of international talent, and became a longtime resident of The Standard hotels. Comfortable playing everywhere from the wine bar to the warehouse, he’s been a guest of Red Room in Okinawa, Pikes in Ibiza, A Club Called Rhonda in Los Angeles, Else & Renate in Berlin, Ministry of Sound in London, Great Northern & Bar Part Time in SF, Matiz & Caracol in São Paulo, Praia Irmao & Vago in Lisbon, Nightmoves in New York, as well as multiple appearances at Sunset Campout in Northern California & Mareh in Brazil.
