Join us May 16th at the newly christened Kapsule club downstairs at the Invisible Wind Factory with a brand new 4-point hi-fidelity sound system from the minds behind Sun Palace Sound System. At the controls will be Smudge celebrating his birthday on May 16 with an epic marathon 6 hour set. He’ll be bringing his infamous DJ rig of mixer, effects, and subharmonic synthesizers. From sunset to sunrise get ready for the usual aural odyssey across Existential Soul, Spiritual Funk, Ecstatic Jazz, Psychedelic Blues, Leftfield Grooves, Nihilistic Gospel, and Life Affirming Dance Music. Part absurd, part philosophical, but always freaky, joyful noise (with just a little splash of melancholy!) However, this is not just a dance for the sake of dancing (although that is a completely valid reason for a dance)... 100% of profits made will be going to MIND to support the continued fight for mental health.
