April & Esmé’s Turntable Fundamentals: Mixing records for beginners. Get to grips with your turntable fundamentals, from calibration to beat matching, mixing and more. An entry level workshop that will arm you with the essential knowledge to take the first steps into mixing vinyl. Hosted by April & Esmé, two trusted vinyl only DJs based in the North, this 3 hour session will allow you to get hands on with the infamous 1210’s in a club environment. Why not bring along some of your own tracks to try, or listen and learn along with our hosts as they walk you through a variety of genres and styles. This is a beginner friendly session, and we welcome the curious and intrigued.
