Good Clean Fun (alcohol-free clubbing)

Good Clean Fun is an alcohol and drug free party that strips modern dance culture of its excess. Our parties are a melting pot of people of all ages, genders, sexualities, religions and ethnicities etc (all the best parties are). We play anything that feels good to move to with a focus on groove / disco / jazz / spiritual / house / electronic sounds from all over. 5pm: Doors 6pm - 7pm: Meditation Hour with Toni Falconer 7pm - 11pm: Athens of the North & Amy Rodgers & Duncan McBride (Queer History of Dance Music) We're joined by Euan Fryer - head of Edinburgh based label and club night Athens of the North. Euans's label has been re-releasing the very best vintage soul, funk and disco tracks since 2014 so expect hidden gems you've never heard from across all genres. He's joined by Amy & Duncan from Queer History on the decks who'll similarly bring their extensive musical knowledge (garnered over their years exploring the co-evolution of the LGBTQI rights movement and dance culture). Homemade food and vegan pastries from Honeytrap as well as wide selection of snacks served throughout the night for some extra energy. Kombucha, hot tea and coffee, ginger beer, lemonade and other soft drinks available. Lots of seating and chill out spots. Ambient lighting and floor cushions for a house party feel.
