This May, as all of us techno and house heads prepare for another electric Memorial Day weekend, Persona welcomes acid legend Lauren Flax (originally hailing from Techno City). We’ve been looking forward to this one for weeks; expect to be glued to dance floor as the sound of 303s and unrelenting groove pull you further and further in!! As a Detroit native, Lauren Flax was immersed in the freedom and sonic tapestry of the 90s Midwest rave era. She relocated to Brooklyn years ago, but still brings that Midwest energy and diversity to her DJ and live sets, fusing cutting acid lines with the bounce of Chicago jack and Detroit grooves. An in-demand DJ and producer, Lauren’s extensive and unique discography includes remixes and collaborations with a long list of world-class talent. Currently, she can be found giving life to hedonistic dance floors around the world, including regularly playing at House of Yes and The Good Room in Brooklyn. Lauren Flax will be taking us all the way to close, and Persona residents will kick off what is sure to be a memorable night on the floor.
