BEARCAT & Roska

A night of rhythmic, percussion led bass music, BEARCAT and Roska land at E1. Originally from London but now based in New York, multidisciplinary artist BEARCAT plays by no musical rules with genre defying sets spanning jungle, techno, rap, dancehall, and beyond. Describing herself as a “dancefloor therapist,” she uses music as a form of collective healing, channeling ancestral energy through pounding, eclectic rhythms. Roska stands as a defining force in UK underground music and a pioneer of UK Funky and its adjacent genres. Fusing together crisp percussion, swinging drum hits, and driving basslines, Roska has earmarked himself as one of the UK’s most accomplished underground exponents.
