Artist Talk with Peach

Canadian-born, UK-based producer Peach shares the intel behind her high energy productions in this CDR Session. For those new to CDR Sessions, each event includes an in-depth, production focused interview with a guest artist, exploring their career and creative process. The talk is flanked by openCDR, where producers and artists of all levels and abilities have the opportunity to play their own music on some of the best club soundsystems across the UK. All genres and styles welcomed! Canadian-born, UK-based producer Peach, crafts high energy, genre-fluid dance music which flirts between tech house and proto house to bleep, ambient techno and beyond. Peach cannot be defined by genre because her music touches on many – all of which sit between the house and techno spectrum – yet it is still a specific kind of energy she creates which cannot be interpreted by genre alone. Her debut EP “Galaxy Girl” on Shanti Celeste & Gramrcy’s Peach Discs was a distinct and intentional expression of her dancefloor-ready technicolour tech house. In 2022, Peach launched her own label Psychic Readings – an output she uses for exploring her own sound with every release. Her 6-year NTS Radio show reflects her genre-fluid approach, and as a seasoned tastemaker and producer – you can expect Peach to share her deep music knowledge with us in this Session.
