The Outer Village II: Interlocked 2 Album Release

Outer Village Audio presents: The Outer Village II - Interlocked 2 Album Release Our residency continues in deep-end electronica in all of its flavors on the 24th of May @ Underwerket. We are happy to announce the release of the second installment of Interlocked: A various artists album with a highlight on local electronic music with a lot of artists releasing for the first time. With these albums we encourage diverse styles, which is what the essence of Outer Village is of - Creating a space for music exploration of the inbetweens in alternate electronic genres. This time around we have invited Octavate coming all the way from Aalborg to showcase their sound in dark and futuristic drum and bass. Octavate has seen an expansion of their audience in recent releases in power house labels such as Dispatch Recordings and Counterpoints. With their focus on groove, Octavate creates sinister tunes of design with an emphasis on playfulness in rhythmical development. Octavate’s performance behind the decks should not be understated and is an experience on its own. Also on the line-up is newcomer SPNR, who we just introduced with a remix of Mindloader - Unaccept on OVA011. SPNR is releasing the first single of the album on Interlocked 2 - A minimal stepper in 160 with an experimental structuring. We have also invited Variutø, who dwells in the experimental side of deep-end 170: Tribal and occult vibrations is to be expected. Come early and experience Strew, who will deliver our live-set of the evening. Strew engages in analogue synth and fizzy scapes of intertwining melodies with notes of eerily serene depths. Interlocked 2 is out on the 23rd of May.
