LAST ENTRY 10:30
Join Youth Demand as we hear the many sounds of resistance: live music from Agar Grove, Louis Chapple, Collective Faces, Fuze & 2Hype; DJ set from KingPraun; and rousing (maybe even inspirational) speeches. We'll also find out what's on the horizon for YD, so all around not an event to miss. Don't be late to get the scoop ;)
This will be a night of defiance and dance. As we present the live sounds of alternative, political pop-folk, indie folk, neo-hippy alongside a Jungle MC. We also present our multi-genre DJ bringing fresh sounds to make you move.
Nonviolent uprising is built on human spirit, it's built on unity. So whether you've taken action, been arrested, been to prison, provided support, handed out a leaflet or are yet to step out onto the road, you are invited to celebrate the joy of collective defiance.
The state tries to keep us down but we're too busy partying (and plotting) for all that.

About the organiser:
Youth Demand are a youth-led nonviolent cilvil resistance group demanding that the UK government:
1. Immediately halts all trade with Israel (including arms)
2. Raises £1 trillion to pay to the global South in climate damages by taxing the super-rich
Youth Demand have sprayed up the MoD, Labour HQ, sat outside Starmer's house, put a photo of a Gazan mother and child over a Picasso painting and way more. They have shut down roads across the country sing their national network, and most recently have shut down roads day after day in London across all of April. They have been featured in all major news outlets including two front pages, and understand that communities of resistance taking nonviolent disruptive action are crucial to fighting genocide and the system that creates it.
