Miao is back! We’re returning to our beloved Oslo with another Miao party at Hausmania. Spring is right around the corner, and the cats are slowly emerging from their shelters. That means May 31st will be all about them — so dust off your ears and whiskers and come dance with the talented HAAS, traveling all the way from Milan, Italy. Supporting them are your very own cat mom, Kate Miao, and Copenhagen-based DJ Elliott Taguchi. Save the date and stay tuned — we’re preparing something extra special for this party! Line up: HAAS (IT) HAAS is a duo formed by Cristian Comes and Matteo Busan. Both DJs, producers, and sound designers, they met in Milan, sharing work and experiences in the music industry. Cristian has always been passionate about synthesizers and drum machines, while Matteo is a flutist. This fusion led them to start their duo project, delivering live and DJ sets incorporating synthesizers, drum machines, and wind instruments. Combining technique and passion in their performances, they explore various genres and subgenres, ranging from Break music to House and Techno, with World and Electro influences. Elliott Taguchi (DK) Elliott Taguchi’s skill and commitment to the music and the scene really shows. With an unfazed ability to read the floor, Elliott’s sets invite the listener to either let their true sexy self out or jump up and down like a frog. Coming from a family of ravers, he has gotten to experience electronic music ever since he was born. Having lived his whole life in Copenhagen, the urban upbringing plays a role in his selections, translating into a deep love for the percussive and groovy side of techno. While his sound often is very danceable and hot, his sets also contain intricate soundscapes and surprises that catches the listener off guard. Kate Miao (DK) Kate Miao is a DJ based in Copenhagen. She is the founder of Miao Music - a label, platform and party concept. Kate embraces various genres and avoids limiting herself to one. Her sound captivates dancers around the world by skillfully navigating cutting-edge sounds and emotions. While Kate embraces a fun energy in her sets, she is not shy of exploring the deep, dark corners of her emo background. This is showcased in her weird, innovative and admirable take on what good dance music is. Her audacious approach orchestrates an unforgettable journey, inviting everyone to reconnect with their inner feline soul and go wild.
