Refuweegee x Radio Buena Vida Fundrasier: The Sound of Collective Action

Join us for an evening of rhythm, warmth, and community as Refuweegee and Radio Buena Vida come together for a special fundraiser celebrating music as a universal language of welcome. Refuweegee is a Glasgow-based, community-led charity providing essential support to refugees and asylum seekers. Radio Buena Vida is a not-for-profit, grassroots radio station broadcasting from Cafe Buena Vida in Govanhill, committed to showcasing diverse voices and creating space for all. This event brings together the best of both: care, creativity, and culture. Expect an eclectic soundtrack of non-electronic, percussive, and instrumental music from local DJs and selectors — drawing on global sounds that move bodies and tell stories, from Afro-Cuban grooves and Latin rhythms to funk, soul, and beyond. All proceeds will go directly to Refuweegee & RBV!!! Let’s gather, dance, and raise funds to make Glasgow — and beyond — a more welcoming place for all.
