Earth Night X ELA 2025

Using the global power of music and nightlife to embody sustainability and inspire action. Once again, ELA is representing Lisbon on the global Earth Night movement. Created by DJs for Climate Action in 2018, the initiative has been uniting the global electronic music community, raising awareness for climate action. Earth Night happens during the Earth Week in April, when promoters, venues and artists from all over the world organize a simultaneous worlwide event, that takes place in different locations during that week. Scientists, activists and frontline communities continue to warn us of impending climate colapse, yet our leaders have so far failed to provide solutions. In the face of immense overwhelm and resulting Climate Paralysis taking hold globally, Earth Night emphasizes local, community-led actions that sprout joy and move the needle on climate justice. --- PROGRAM --- TALK SESSION Debate on Climate Action to face the rise of fascism, assaults of freedoms and rising repression. Presentation of the next actions w/ Climáximo, Vida Justa, ATERRA and Greve Climática Estudantil. MUSIC All artists will be challenged to produce a track to be played at the event, using the Climate Sample Pack that was recorded by Greenpeace in unique natural areas from the Arctic to the Amazon Forest. Soundsystem: Mais Baixo Light Installation: Psycholights --- ESSENTIAL INFOS Vegetarian food available at the event. Special ‘Earth Night’ cocktail - profit will be donated to DJs for Climate Action. Keep the privacy and the vibe up - photos / videos are not allowed in ELA. --- ELA is a Lisbon-based community organizing underground music gatherings, since 2016. We support and host alternative culture and eco-social movements. Having a safe and diverse environment is key.
