Sentinel Island Disco invites Bonnefooi Bonnefooi, real name Michel van der Meer, needs little introduction. Having spent nearly a decade at the legendary Rush Hour store in Amsterdam, soaking up sounds from every corner of the world, Bonnefooi is the “real deal” in the realm of ‘selector DJs.’ Well known for his deep knowledge of tropical nuggets from the ’70s to the ’90s, he seamlessly blends them back and forth with disco and other electronic grooves. More recently, he’s credited as the producer behind Dutch hip-hop projects with Raven Kangee.
