EAMMS DJ's Ethan and Mitch met by way of Copenhagen seven years ago. Since then, the two have been curating music, and delivering improvised sets that pay homage to clubs they fell in love with in Denmark, while folding in local and international influence from deep house, tech, garage, world, and east coast hip hop. EAMMS's sound is equal parts ethereal as it is driving, delivering set narratives that build and release floor energy as the night progresses.
In the past year alone, the duo has had the privilege of filling rooms around New York City including Elsewhere, Silo, Eavesdrop, Outer Heaven, Laissez Faire, Barlume, Rodeo, Rash, Dead Letter No.9, as 2024/25 Parkhouse residents, and in clubs as far as Hong Kong, and Copenhagen (e.g., Baggen, Siggurds Klubben). Dara Hirsch (she/they) aka datadata, is a DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Brooklyn NY. Their ethos is rooted in community and connection on the dancefloor- whether it be through sensuous jazzy grooves, quirky electronica, or hypnotic techno. Her
selection style can be described as 'sexy/cunty' always making sure to leave plenty of room in her sets for humor.
Since the start of their DJ career, they’ve been able to jump in full force into the New York dance scene releasing her debut track 'OKAY' followed by her sophomoric single ‘I JUST GOT MY PERIOD’, alongside a remix for well-renowned afro-house label Bastard Jazz. You can find her playing clubs throughout Brooklyn such as Elsewhere, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Superior Ingredients, Earthly Delights, Mansions, and Jupiter Disco. Their mixes have been featured on The Lot Radio (NYC), Refuge Worldwide (Berlin), Radio AlHara (Palestine) and Voices Radio (London). (@datadata.wav)
A DJ based in New York City by way of Virginia by way of the Nigerian diaspora, Ben Ready’s sound has no borders. With musical roots in jazz, hip hop, and 70s afrobeat, mercurial improvisation is at the core of his perspective on DJing. Expect a set to range from funky to grimey, touching on house, club, ukg, techno and whatever else best captures the energy of the moment. (@benready.mp3)
Two eggs that were hatched in South Africa, Speckled Egg DJs Nick and Matty quacked their way around the world to Singapore and finally ending up in New York City in 2021. With their African and U.K. influences shaping their sound from U.K. funky, heavy hitting club tools, and groovy percussive rhythms — they became features of the NY underground scene quacking their beaks and waddling their feet at Elsewhere, SILO, Jupiter Disco, TBA Brooklyn and beyond. With one of the eggs recently migrating over to Miami, the other egg is holding down the fort in the greatest city on earth. Come have a splash. (@speckledegg__)
