Created in response to a lack of inclusive parties with high-quality electronic music, SPIELRAUM has built a reputation for its commitment to fostering a diverse and safe dancefloor for the LGBTQIA+ community. At its core, SPIELRAUM sees club spaces as essential sanctuaries for self-expression, where marginalized communities can escape societal judgment and feel truly free. The collective acknowledges the inherently political nature of queer existence and nightlife, making their mission not just about raving but about creating a movement for inclusivity, expression, and community solidarity. In October 2024, SPIELRAUM found a new physical home with the opening of CLUB RAUM near Amsterdam’s Sloterdijk Station. This venue not only hosts club nights but also serves as a space for artistic events and educational community care initiatives, emphasizing its commitment to the queer community. ———— 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 160 DKK 80 DKK after 05:30 Limited pre-sale tickets can be purchased on Resident Advisor. Entrance closes 1 hour before the club (earliest at 7 am) Re-entry is possible all night. Age: 20+ Wardrobe: Lockers are free to use with a lock. Bring your own or purchase one for 40 DKK at the entrance. Door Policy - Normal Selection: Our door staff will curate the crowd to the extent they find necessary, and they have an increased focus on the vibe and balance of the audience. On these nights we expect anyone who enters to have a basic knowledge about our policy. ‍All club nights operate with some level of selection. This event operates with the middle level, Normal Selection. You can always reach out to the management before or after an event on awareness@denandenside.com with questions or concerns. We strive to always be a place where minoritized individuals can feel safe and comfortable. We kindly ask you to be mindful of the space and event you are entering, the space you occupy, and how your presence influences the vibe and the experience of other guests. 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗢𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 - Feel the room and consider how you influence it. - Don't assume gender or pronouns. - No discriminatory language or actions of any kind. -‍ Take the time to listen and learn and be aware of your privileges - No pictures or videos of any kind inside the club.‍ - Dancefloor is for dancing; Don’t have loud conversations or use your phones. - Ask for consent and respect each other’s boundaries. - Don’t stare at or approach other guests non-consensually. - Take care of yourself and each other, and consume responsibly. - The darkroom is for intimate and consensual play only. 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀‍ The Awareness Team is at the club every weekend, identifiable by their bright green shirts labeled "AWARENESS." You can also reach them by contacting the door staff. Guests must speak with the door staff upon entry to ensure everyone is informed about our code of conduct and policies. Violating these policies can result in immediate eviction without a refund.
