__________
Más Luz brings light through sound at Argo16 in its first ever event. After DJ Laguna shifting textures and moods, Bianca Scout headlines with a luminous live act of spiritual pop and dystopian electronica. Soundcloud legend blastah fires baile funk and reggaeton mutations, then Jehia and EM close with fractured club echoes.
__________
BIANCA SCOUT (UK)
Bianca Scout is a multi disciplinary artist writing, producing and devising within a range of musical and performance styles. She encourages fullness of presence within each expression, submitting her background in classical dance to her experimental nature. Her music is radically intuitive, a mysterious mix of demure post-punk grunge, chamber ambient music and movement exist as a fantastical sublimation of a seemingly endless personal archive of the stories, dreams and questions which make up her internal world.
BLASTAH (PG)
Lisbon-born and Berlin-based blastah stands as a distinguished electronic music artist and DJ, with a vibe perfectly sensuous and set in woozy soft focus. In the last decades his releases on Golden Mist, Mixpak and Worldwide Unlimited and his collaborations with the likes of ANIMA, DJ Python and Don Sinini have showcased a fusion of club-ready reworks of rnb and pop, blending reggaeton, ambient, dancehall, baile funk, trap, batida and tarraxo.
JEHIA (EG)
Jehia is known for his ability to push the boundaries of traditional DJ sets with and approach both refined and unpredictable, that merges his roots with a wide range of global influences. Drawing from genres such as jungle, bass, IDM and deconstructed club, he creates immersive, raw and powerful soundscapes. Shaped by the frenetic energy of Cairo and the lively spirit of Barcelona, Jehia’s performances flow seamlessly across these energies while maintaining a unique and cohesive rhythm.
